International Postcard Competition

The International Committee is inviting IGG members from age 5-30 to enter its International Postcard Competition!

Ladybirds, Brownies, Guides and Senior Branchers are all welcome to enter by designing a World Thinking Day 2020 postcard.

The winning postcards will be used to send greetings to our sister Guides across the world for World Thinking Day.

The theme for World Thinking Day 2020 is Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and your design should reflect this. Leaders of younger girls may like to discuss the theme with girls to help them understand the concepts.

Entries can be made using pencil, crayons, felt tip or paint only (no glitter glue please)!

A winner will be chosen from each Branch and the winning designs will be made into postcards and sent to our sister Guides throughout the world. There will be prizes for the four winners too, of course!

Entries should be submitted using the International Postcard Submission Form. Units are asked to select their best 5 entries to submit for consideration and send them to Postcard Competition, National Office, 27 Pembroke Park, Dublin 4, to arrive on or before Monday 20 January 2020.

Good luck!
