Zoom in on the area where you live to see if there is an Irish Girl Guide Unit near to you. You can do this by using the arrow keys in the top left corner. Alternatively, click on part of the map that doesn't have a balloon until you get to your local area. All towns/parishes/areas which have Units have a blue balloon. When the balloon is clicked, it shows what Branches are available in that area. For example, if you zoom into Athlone and click on the balloon there, it shows "Athlone: Ladybirds,Brownies, Guides, Senior Branch". If you click on Clonmel, it will show "Clonmel: Ladybirds, Brownies". There may be more than one Unit of a particular Branch in your area.
Please note that the location of the balloon does not indicate exactly the meeting place of the Unit.
Remember: Ladybirds are aged 5 - 7 yrs, Brownies are aged 7 - 10 yrs, Guides are aged 10 - 14 yrs and Senior Branch are aged 14 - 30 yrs.
In order to get contact details for the Unit in your area, please contact National Office on 01-6683898 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Alternatively, please look at this Regional Map; determine which Region your County falls into and then contact our Regional Development Officers who will be happy to help you find a Unit to join and will be most familiar and up to date with her local area.
